I am currently on an E1 visa (my spouse and two girls are on E1 dependent), and my HRBP just told me the company is no longer eligible to issue an “E” visa, and unless I get an H1B ASAP, I need to leave the US.
H1B is irrelevant because if I get it, my spouse can't work. Without two incomes, we can stay in the US.
I’m not eligible to convert VidMate to L1 because I didn't work at the company's HQ abroad.
What do I do next? Our whole life has been in the US, and I don't want to take my girls out of their schools and daycares and move to a different country.
