This might sound like a dumb question but I'm kind of paranoid so thought of asking it.
I'm an Indian national planning to apply for a Japanese tourist visa, for which you require your last income tax return as one of the essential documents. I have this document but my surname on it has a spelling error (the CA filing my return had added an 'a' at the end) and thus, doesn't fully match the surname on my passport.
Can this lead to my visa application being rejected (say, they mistakenly assume that the tax return isn't mine because the surname spellings don't match)? Or am I just overthinking?
I had previously applied for a Turkish visa using that doc and got it without any issues.
Thanks
