Hello,
I am planning to invite my Mother in law to US. I usually send most of my salary to my Indian account and not save much in my US account. So every month I maintain a balance of 1 to 1.5 K for my day to day expenses.
I read in the forum that it is advised to maintain a minimum of $5000. I want to bring them to US immediately. So if I deposit the amount now and show in my statement I wonder whether they will suspect.
So ask them to sponsor themselves or still can I sponsor them? She has property in India, fixed deposit and good bank balance.
Which one is the best one self sponsor or me sponsoring them?
Please advice.
