Hello,
I know someone who was deported from the US for an aggravated felony. This individual served 21 years in prison in the US and was subsequently deported back to Mexico. This person has also been reformed in every sense of the word and is a leader in the community in their home country, a business owner, and does work with a church. This person has a very real need to be able to enter the US to conduct business, raise money for the church and give educational talks.
Is it possible for this individual to get apply for a I-212 waiver and then enter as a B-1 Temporary Business Visitor?
