Visiting Europe while in USA with B2 visa

Hi,

My in-laws are in the USA on a B1 Visa. I want to take them on a trip to Europe for a week while they are here in the USA. There is a CBP link that mentions that entering the USA from Europe will be considered as a fresh entry rather than re-entry and can cause a lot of questions at CBP interviews. Has anybody faced this situation? Any guidance will be appreciated.
