Question on Visitor Visa

Hi..

I have taken an appointment for my Mom at chennai consulate in this month end. Her visa has been rejected last year under 214B. She is a widow and is working in a private school.

Is it true that possibility of visa rejections for Widow are more.

Can u please guide me as to how to proceed further with documentation.

It is really difficult to give any firm answer because it is so subjective.

However, it is true that some(not all) widows may have difficulty proving strong ties to home country.
