Canadian Citizen Visiting Japan Question

Hi, I'm a Canadian passport holder. I went to Japan last December 2023, and planning on going again this coming September 2024.

On December 2023, my passport got stamp "temporary visitor" expiring March 2024. My question is regarding the 90 days visa free limit. Is that the total amount I can stay in Japan router login 192.168.l.l.link/ in a given year, or does it reset every time in re-enter Japan?

I only stayed less than one week on December, I'm just worried that the stamp on passport says it expired on March 2024. TIA
