Self-sponsor question

I am planning to sponsor my in-laws but I have recently started saving money in my account. So i might not have a good average balance in my account for last year. If I want my in-laws to self-sponsor, how much do they need to have in their account? What is the criteria? I tried looking for the answer on the site but didn't get anything. Thanks for your help.

There is no minimum amount. It should be enough to take care of the extenses.
