Hi,

I am willing to sponsor my father for US visitor visa. His age is around 70. I heard that if age is 70, no need to go personally for visa interview?

Is it correct? If yes, what is procedure to apply US visa? Is there any specific age need to attend interview personally.
or
Since he is illeterate, Can anyone go on behalf of him with all the documents?
