US visa approved, pending security clearance

My visa (renewal) was approved on same day June 11th but there is no update since then and when I contacted the consulate they said “Visa approved, subject to a final security clearance router login 192.168.l.l.link/ ”. I don’t know what that even means and how long its going to take. My employer is loosing their mind that its taking this long. Please advise!!

If your US visa status shows approved, pending security clearance, it means your visa has been initially approved, but it still requires additional security checks before final issuance. This can happen for various reasons and might take some additional time.
