I wanted to get some clarity regarding JAPAN visa via VFS Global Delhi, India. I have prepared the last 3 years ITR acknowledgement slips. In some posts, it's mentioned that embassy asks for additional docs like form-16 and 26AS. Form 26AS is easy to procure but form-16 has not been issued by the employer. In such a scenario, what's the https://vlc.onl/ workaround? Do I have to mention this on the Cover Letter? Also, my job type is remote/WFH, not on-site. Do I need to address this on the CV as well?

If your employer has not issued a Form 16, you can mention this in your cover letter and provide a brief explanation. Since you have your last 3 years of ITR acknowledgment slips and Form 26AS, these should suffice as proof of your income and tax details.
Regarding your job type, it's a good idea to mention that you work remotely/WFH in your cover letter and CV, as this provides clarity on your employment status and location independence.
