  • Visit visa for brother

    Hello there wonderful lawyers.
My brother would like to reapply for visit visa for the 2nd time. He applied 2 years ago and got rejected. He lives in Dubai and me and my mom lives here and we both are citizens. Due to personal and family issues, we haven't met in 12 years. Last time the immigration officer rejected the visa on grounds of our mom being citizen and son won't come back. My brother has no intention of not returning as he will be traveling alone and family is in Dubai. Our dad lives back home and my borther visits him on and off ( both mom and dad are divorced) and is in poor health. My question is my brother's situation hasn't changed from last time so should he even apply? Last time he didn't mention about dad but should he mention that he cannot leave Dubai because he can easily visit dad and will be back because of him as he cannot travel to USA? And mom also cannot travel much from US to see her son.
Any advice will be highly appreciated.
one important thing is my brother did mention to the immigration officer last time that mom went to US on visit visa and later on converted to green card while living in the US. I told him you shouldn't have mentioned that but he said he didn't know it will
    negativity impact his case.
should he even mention this again if immigration officer asks how did mom get her citizenship?
    Thanks
