  • Malaysia Airlines flights cancelled

I’m traveling from Bangalore to Tokyo and returning from Osaka to Bangalore on October 8th. I submitted my visa application two days ago, but today I received an email from the Malaysia Airlines stating that my return flight has been rescheduled to October 9th.

Will this cause any issues with my visa application, considering I mentioned October 8th as my return date?

It sounds like a bit of a scheduling headache! Generally, a change in your flight date shouldn't directly affect your visa application, especially since visa processing typically focuses on your travel intentions rather than specific flight details. However, it's always a good idea to check the visa requirements for Japan to ensure your new return date aligns with your plans.

To be on the safe side, consider contacting the visa processing authority to inform them of the change or check their guidelines. Also, keep your flight confirmation handy when you submit any additional documentation. If you're also traveling through Istanbul Airport, be sure to check any transit requirements that may apply. Safe travels!
