  • mother's visa rejected - Please help

    Hi,

My mother's visitor visa got rejected in Nov-2003 when my uncle sponsored her. Only my mother went to visa at that time. Her visa got rejected for the reasons of 214(b).

Now I am sponsoring both of my parents. They are planning to go some time next month(trying for the appointment). My father is now retired and working in a private firm. Is it better to tell he is retired or working?

Anyone have other suggestions or tips for this time, will be greatly appreciated.

    thanks

      Don't lie , ever !

      Hey,
Whatever be the circumstance, do not ever twist facts at the US consulate ! Their networks are amazing and you never know they might get the actual situation from whatever source in a matter of minutes.
If they find out that you hv lied to them , there goes your visa...also they will mark it against your name , so any time u apply for a visa, the case officer is going to see it.
Just make sure your folks hv signed affidavit of return in frnt of a notary and hv sufficient assets to convince the officer that they will come back.
      Cheers,
      A.

No such things are acceptable, as person can still stay in US after signing all the documents.
