Hi all,
My in-laws B2 visitor visa got rejected yesterday on 11th Jan'11....the officer didn't ask or see any documents....he just asked 4 questions and said visa is rejected. I am sponsoring my in-laws.
Visa Officer asked to my Father in law:-
1. Who is there in US
answered: my daughter and son-in-law
2. When did u meet your daughter?
- july'10
3. What do u do here?
-........ Business
4. What's your income?
- My annual income is ........
And he immediately gave envelope of rejection as if he has already kept it ready. Didn't give any reason.
He has his own shop, residence , and very good income. Even yougest unmarried daughter, very old mother and so many bindings and responsibilities in India. But the office didn't ask anything abt this.
So i want to reapply again...so my concern is
1. how long i should wait to take next interview appointment?
2. this 2nd time how should they give interview?
3. Can they show some documents like affidavits of Assurance, Affidavit of Support etc even if the officer doesn't ask any.
4. As i am sposoring my in-laws does that affect visa approval or they should sponsor themselves this time?
Please advice! Any suggestions would be appreciated.....
Thanks!
