Difference in last name of the Visa candidate in 2 different documents

Hi All,

I have applied B2 visa for my mother. The problem here is the last name of my mother differs in my passport and her passport (Eg: In my passport her name is A A and in her passport, it is A B)
In the other documents (ration card, land doc, birth certificate...), her name is same as in my passport (ie A A) except her passport.

Please let me know whether this is fine or we need to provide any other additional document to sort out this issue.

She has a visa interview next week.

So please help me to sort out this issue ASAP.
