Hello,
I'm trying to get my friend into the country to visit for 6 months from Australia. She's filled out all the paperwork and has an appointment for an interview next week.
She has enough savings to support herself for this time since she'll be staying with me and other friends, but I'll be supporting her partially during her trip and bought her a round-trip ticket already.
I wanted to make sure that wasn't a problem for her in getting her visa. If I wrote her a letter of support, showing my financial ability to support her, would that help?
It's a slightly odd arraignment - she's just coming to hang out in california with me and some of her other friends and travel around a bit. My main concern is that it would raise suspicions, even though it's a perfectly legit situation.
Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated!
