Can take 2 online appointments?

Can we take 2 online interview appointments for visitor visa in TTS website?
As of now, the wait time is 3 months to get the appointment for visa interview thru TTS services.
Say if I am bringing my uncle in may 2005 and visitor visa got rejected, then I have to wait another 3 months to get the next appointment?
Is it possible for my Uncle to re-appear after a month without any appointment incase if he got rejected the first time?
So I am thinking to take one appointment in May and the other in July,incase if he got rejected in the first interview,I can use the second appointment date?
any ideas ?

You can't take more than 1 appointment. System does not allow that.

1.Can't we take another appointment 2 weeks after the first appointment with the same passport? did they cross check with the passports?

2.Also on the tts visas site it was mentioned:
If your visa application is refused and you want to reapply, the service charge receipt issued to you by TT Services at the Consulate will be valid for one more interview visit to the Consulate. The receipt is non transferable and has a validity of twelve months from issue date.

What does that mean? if visa is rejected at first time, can we go to consulate without any appointments next time and also without paying the fees again?
please clarify.

Oops ! no two appointments !!!

I've tried this before, hence this reply:
The system records each passport number entered into the appt database. The entry is removed ONLY when u actually have the appt , rather when ur appt is actually scheduled or cancelled manually by you.
The same passport number will not be allowed two entries, no matter when it is being fixed. If there is a valid entry already, second entry is disabled.

Re: ur 2nd qn, TTS is the service that couriers ur passport/visa from consulate to your address. The statement you mentioned just means that in case the visa is rejected, their service fee is valid also for your next appt.
when u enter the consulate building, the 1st thg u do is pay the TTS fee. If you are going a 2nd time due to refusal, u do not need to pay this fee again. That is what they mean.

Hey, this has nothing to do with ur visa fees. U need to pay the DD for 4600 /- This is non-refundable.
Also, mayb my reply was not quite clear....TTS does 2 thgs - ur web appt and mailing ur passport.
U need a SEPARATE web appt each time u apply + separate draft for 4600/-. Just that ur TTS fee (441/-) is valid for 2 attempts of visa application.

If you did not need an appt for 2nd attempt , life would have been much easier ! The whole consulate would be clogged with people coming for 2nd attempts !

You have to pay application fee everytime you apply, whether approved or rejected.

You have to pay visa fee only when it is approved.

So from your answers it looks like if someone who has to visit US in july has their visa got refused in the first attempt in july, then I have to make another appointment ONLY in july(which is roughly another 90 days or more wait to get the next appt), so they have to wait till november to just appear for the interview(again its not guaranteed...if they get visa or not???!!!)
