Hello,
I am planning to apply for my parent's vistor visa and i wish to schedule the visa interview in the month of feb 2011. My mother's passport exipires in oct 2011 and we are little concerned if her visa may get rejected due to this reason. She will be attending the interview with my dad who has a valid passport till Mar 2016.
We tried to renew her passport and were informed by a staff member that it is might take around 6 months from the application date to get a new passport at this point. We are expecting a baby around the last week of june and would like our parents to be with us for at least 2 months after the delivery date. Please suggest if you know of any scenarios where visas were denied due to the expiration date of the passport.
