Sri Lanka visa for UK and India Nationals

So I am looking online whether visa is needed for Indian and UK nationals. There is so much conflicting information. Every sight has their own fees attached to it. And there are also news articles that visa is not required for Indians.

Has any Indian or British person travelled to or planning to travel to Sri Lanka in December this year?

Please tell me if you had to fill an ETA form and if so, how much did it cost ?
