Hello All,
Greetings.
I am sponsoring visa for my parents and parents in law for visiting us.
Several questions in this regard
1) My father can converse in English with the VO, but my mother won't be able to. Will it be ok if my father translates for my mother, . I read in a previous post that the it should be, just double checking. OR Is it better for them to have appointment in Hindi.
2) For my parents in law , is it ok if i add my mother-in-law as the primary applicant and father-in-law as secondary?. Reasons being
i) My mother in law has travelled to another country before. She will be staying with us for more than 3 months
ii) My father in law has a business and he may not be travlling with my mother in law. He will probably come for a few weeks when my mother in law is here.
Does this make sense?
3)My father in law's most business dealings are in cash, so he would not have a strong bank statement to show and most properties are not in his name either.
4) Our toddler son, who is a US citizen, is currently with my parents in law in India, whereas my wife and myself are in US. My initial instinct is not to mention this to keep things simple. But if typical question come like who will you be visiting, who all are there in your son-in-law/daugter's family etc., i want be honest about it. But worried that it might raise a Red flag. Should this be mentioned before hand and will it be a red flag or would it work as a positive ?
Thanks
