Hi all, asking for a friend. I have a Chinese friend who is currently studying at university in canada who is looking to visit the U.S. for vacation.
I’ve tried looking around, but I’m getting pretty confused when trying to assist with how to get this visa.
Our questions:
Do you apply through a Canadian immigration office? Or would we go through China? Or do we apply in the U.S.?
What are the steps? I roughly gather its - fill out application, take an interview, then (once approved) come to the U.S.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. As a side note, I am from the U.S., so I am not familiar with all the regulations on the China/Canada side when it comes to this tourism visa! Thank you!
