Extension visa for my spouse

Hi everyone, I’m trying to apply for an extension to my wife’s spouse visa. Does anyone know what documents they require this time round as the application is now from within the UK?

Any guidance on the process would be appreciated. Does my wife need to pass an English test again https://19216811.cam/ https://1921681001.id/? She passed level A1 of IELTS for the initial spouse visa.

Also, her current visa expires at the start of April. When should the application be submitted for the extension?
