  • Isreal visa help

Hi I'm looking to enter Israel for tourism and have obtained a ETA-IL but am concerned that I also need a visa. By my understanding the ETA-IL gets you to the border and then you speak with border control.

I am asking if anyone knows if I need to apply for anything else to enter.

    Thanks.

    Hello,
The ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) is a crucial step for most tourists entering Israel, but it's not the only requirement. Here's a breakdown:

    ETA-IL is NOT a Visa:

It's an online authorization that allows you to reach the Israeli border.
Think of it as preliminary approval.
    Border Control is Key:

Upon arrival at the border, Israeli officials have the final say on your entry.
They will review your travel documents (passport, ETA-IL) and may ask questions.
    In Summary:

You generally DO NOT need a separate visa if you're from a visa-exempt country and plan a short tourist visit (typically under 90 days).
The ETA-IL is mandatory for most tourists, so ensure you obtain it before your trip.
Border control has the final decision on whether you can enter Israel.
    Important Note:

Always check the official Israeli government website (or contact the nearest Israeli embassy/consulate) for the most up-to-date and accurate visa/entry requirements.
Situations can change, so it's best to confirm directly with the authorities.

Hi there! It's great that you've already obtained your ETA-IL! The ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization for Israel) is designed for travelers from visa-exempt countries and allows you to stay in Israel for up to 90 days per visit bogo subway

However, it's always a good idea to double-check the requirements. Based on the latest information, if you have an ETA-IL approval, you should be able to enter Israel without needing an additional visa. Upon arrival, you'll still go through border control, where they'll verify your documents and ETA-IL approval.

To be absolutely sure, I recommend contacting the nearest Israeli Embassy or checking the officialIsrael Population and Immigration Authority website for the most up-to-date information.
