Changing from Skill visa to dependent visa

Hi everyone, I have been working on a Skilled Worker visa as a software engineer for the past five months. My wife is also working under a sponsored visa as a registered nurse. I want to change my job, but the new job does not offer visa sponsorship. If I take a job without sponsorship, what are the implications? Will my five months of work under the Skilled Worker visa become invalid, or will they not count towards ILR?

Gojenko, You need to get sponsorship. Does your new employer have a sponsor licence? Can they get one? You will need to leave the UK and apply to join your wife. You can only join her as a dependent if she applied prior to Oct 2024.
