Do I have to update ustraveldocs appointment after updating DS-160?

Booked an appointment for my parents for B2 visa.
Booked it in Deb 2023. The visa is in April 2025.
I read that if DS-160 is more than 6 months old then it needs to be resubmitted. I did that.
Do I have to make the changes in ustraveldocs as well?
Some folks have mentioned that this is not needed and only the new DS-160 is needed and given to the officer during Biometrics.

You don't need to update your ustraveldocs appointment after submitting a new DS-160. Just bring both the old and new DS-160 confirmation pages to your visa interview.
