H1 initiated while on B2

Hi

My company has initiated my H1B . But i need to travel urgently in b2 visa its kind of urgent. So my query is that if i apply for B2 would my H1B processing will be cancelled ?

Make sure that your activities while on B2 are consistent with B2 visa.
