  • Visa rejection for Belgium

    Hi

I have been trying to get a Schengen visa for my wife we have been together for over 4 years and we also got married in Thailand 2 years ago. During this period I have tryed 5x to get a Schengen visa for short stay but it always gets rejected for the same reason of them suspecting my wife not to return back to Thailand how do I deal with this? We have been 10.0.0.0.1 192.168.1.254 transparant in everything I don’t know what else we can do. Is there anyone with the same experience, or advice?

    Hello,

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you're facing with the Schengen visa application. Here are some tips that might help improve your chances: mycenturahealths

Strong Ties to Home Country: Demonstrate strong ties to Thailand, such as property ownership, stable employment, or family connections. This can help convince the authorities that your wife has reasons to return.

Comprehensive Documentation: Ensure all documents are complete and accurate. This includes a detailed cover letter explaining your travel plans, financial stability, and reasons for returning to Thailand.

Financial Proof: Provide clear evidence of sufficient funds to cover the trip, such as bank statements, salary slips, and tax returns.

Travel History: If possible, include evidence of previous international travel and timely returns. This can help build trust in your wife's travel intentions.

Appeal the Decision: If you believe the rejection was unjust, you can appeal the decision. The appeal process varies by country, so check the specific requirements for the country you applied to.

Visa rejections due to "intent to not return" are common. Strengthen your wife's ties to Thailand—show proof of employment, property ownership, financial stability, or family obligations. A strong travel history also helps. Consider appealing or reapplying with additional evidence. Consulting a visa expert may improve your chances.
