Multiple Entry visa Question

Hi,
My parents got the multiple entry visa for 10 years. They will be in US till June end. My question is for the next entry.How long they have to be in India before coming back to USA? Can they go back in June and come back in July or August? If they are coming back in very short duration, does the officer at the port of entry creates a problem?
Please let me know.

There is no official rule how long person should be outside country.

If person tries to spend too much time in US, he/she may be denied entry.
