  • ESTA and first names

Hi all. I’m now trying to apply for the ESTA to travel to the US. I’m from The Netherlands. I scanned the chip in my passport but now the ESTA app only shows part of my first names. So I have four first names, the last three are my baptismal names, now my third baptismal name is not showing up completely. So it’s FRANCISCA on my passport but it only shows FRANCI . Does anyone know if this will be an issue omegle xender? I can’t manually adjust the first names… thank you!

The official ESTA website doesn't specifically address the issue of multiple first names being truncated, it's common for electronic systems to have character limits that result in longer names being shortened. Generally, as long as the primary identifiers—your last name and first given name—match those in your passport's machine-readable zone (MRZ), minor truncations of additional names are typically acceptable. However, for definitive guidance, it's advisable to contact CBP directly.
