Hi!
While going to VFS center to take an appointment does the applicant have to go in alone or can someone accompany him inside. what if the applicant does not know english.

The applicant himself or a representative of the applicant may go but the representative must carry all the docs including passports (original).
And as far as I know, everybody working in VFS is Indian and familiar with Indian languages. I have found VFS team mostly helpful.

Not knowing English is not a problem.

They know several languages such as Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi etc.
