  • Citizen sponsoring parents for visitor visa

    Hi,

My parents are going for visa in a week from now. I had already sent some papers as a green card holder. Yesterday i had my citizenship interview and received the citizenship certificate also. I sent new I 134 forms and my certificate of naturalization today. My questions are

    1. I still have not applied for a US passport - is US passport needed for my parents visa interview?

    2. Are the chances of getting visa better if sponsor is a citizen or a GC holder?

    Thanks
    Anu

I dont think having a GC/citizenship or an American Passport wud make much of a difference on this. Like it is always stressed here, body language and how well u do the interview, answering straight upto point is the key, assuming ofcourse tht there is all the paperwork u need on hand.

Pinch of luck needs to kick in at the right time. Just wish for the best.

    All the Best *~*
