  • H1B (6years) expiring in May and in-law has visitor visa appointment in April

I want to sponsor my mother-in-law to come to US for a vacation and my H1b is expiring in May and i will be applying for my 7th year extension in April .My mother-in-law is a govt employee and has a NOC from her office.

    1. If I sponsor, will the consulate give visitorvisa only till May ?

2.Else , can I ask my wife has just got her new H1B still finding projects , so she can she sponsor without paystubs , if she becomes a joint account holder with me (for financial support)

    3. What are the things and documents that need to be prepared for this???/
you can send in your suggestions at [email protected] also.

URGENT :My H1B is expiring(6 years) in May 2005

My H1B is expiring(6 years) in May 2005 but my in-law 's visitor visa appointment is in april 2005.So I have two questions here:

1.under the sponsor documents that are outlined in the website, it says that we need to send the photocopies of all pages of the passport where in my stamping will show that it is only upto May 2005 whereas my mother-in-law is going for the appointment on April 19th. She is a govt employee and has NOC but will her visa get rejected for the above reason. If visa is issued will she be granted to stay only for 15 days in US becoz of my expiry.

      2. My wife has new H1B , just got approved and she has only offer letter from her employer and the H1 approval notice. For financial support , I have made her a joint accountee with my account. She has still not found any projects and hence does not have any paystubs. Given this scenario can she be a sponsor?

Please help as I am not very clear with this and am confused totally and sleepless. Attorney Kindly clarify this post as I am worried totally.Other forum hubbers please clarify if you know any solution to this to my mail id [email protected]

      thanks,

          Please Help Urgent

Thank you for ur reply but am not sure whether i made it clear in my question that because my H1 is expiring in 2nd week of May and so far I have not applied for my 7th year extension and i will be applying only by end of April , but my mother in law has her appointment in the second week of April during that time when she goes for appointment she will not even have the receipt of my 7th year H1 , in that case will her visa be denied on these grounds ???? even though she has strong ties to India becoz of her central govt job . Kindly clarify this . I am sleepless and confused and hence writing to find a way for this confusion.

Am helpless becoz even my wife has just received her new H1 and she does not have paystubs to sponsor.

          Thanks a million.
