Visitor Visa Sponser Issue

Hi,

My parents are applying for Visitor Visa. I am sending affidavit of support for them. I just started working for some months so I only have $10,000 in bank. So the way we want to do is that my father buys tickets and I can take care of them when they are in US. How do we say all this in the Affidavit of support. Does it lessen the chances of getting a Visa for them ?

I dont think thr is a scale as to how much bank balance one needs to show, but I read in this site tht about 4-5k per person is good enough kinds. So ur 10k shud be good enough for both of them.
