Hi,
I am slated to travel to the US on 19th Feb 2011 and currently hold a B1 visa and will be there for 4 weeks.
Now as my spouse and daughter (4 years) are alone here and nobody will be here to take care of them, I wanted them to accompany me on a tourist visa. Is it fair enough to state during the visa interview for my spouse that they are accompanying with me for tourism purpose? I appreciate your guidance on what should be the ideal way to present the case for tourist visa.
I appreciate a quick response on this as my family will most probably appear for the visa interview on 10th Feb – the next available date for interview is 22nd Feb.
Thanks,
Biplab
