Dependent(B2) visa for spouce when I am on B1

Hi,

Out of the 2 reasons below, which could be the strong or more appropriate reason to justify spouce travelling on B2?

1. My wife is completely dependent on me and hence i have to take her with me during my business visit as she cannot stay alone here.

2. She also has a job in India. She is taking a month off and coming with me/join me sometime later to visit few places along with me.

Obiviously the second one which implies she will return to her own country after her visit to USA.
