Visa for Grandmother
Hi,
I really need some advice for getting visitor visa for my grandmother (mom's mom). She has been rejected visa twice in chennai consulate. Once in July 2010 and now in Feb 2011.
First Time - My younger sister (was not married then) also went along with my grandmother for a visitor visa and VO asked a couple of questions to my sister and rejected the visa for both my sister and grandmother even wihout asking a single question to my grandmother.
The trip was sponsered by my grandmother for the first time.
Second Time - My grandmother went alone this time and they asked few basic questions and they rejected the visa even without seeing her property docs.
I sponsered this trip thinking that if I sponser my grandmother will get a visa.
My grandmother has a commercial building and house in her name. She has all property documents up to date.
I really want my grandmother to come and stay with us for sometime and I want to show her some places here in the USA.
So please someone help me with your suggestions on how to go about getting a visa for my grandmother. Will it work if we try through some travel agent?
