SCHEDULED a visa appointment in ENGLISH????????

Hi,
my father and mother have scheduled their visa interview appointment in english,,,the problem is that my father can speak in english but mother cant... can my father be a translator for her ...or shall ask for a tranlator...interview is in delhi consulate....on around 22nd march....
