urgent- B2 visa got approved and waiting for passport in Japan

Hey all,
My boyfriend B2 visa got approved on March 10 at Tokyo Consulate and he was told that he will receive his passport with a week
He has a Chinese passport living in Japan for more than ten years.
my concern is that
is there any chance that his B2 visa maybe rejected because of the earthquake.

any information will be greatly appreciated.

If he was told that he will receive the passport in a week, that most likely means that his visa has been approved.

There is no reason for the visa to be denied just because of the earthquake there. Of course, it is possible that his passport delivery would be delayed because of it.

an idea how many days usually it take. He doesn't want to wait anymore.
He wants to get leave the country asap.
