Visitor VISA- return ticket

Hi,

I am sponsering for my mother's visitor VISA to US. I have booked only one way ticket from INDIA to US. will this be any issue in VISA process.

DO I have to book a return tcket now as a supporting document.

You don't need any tickets as part of the visitors visa interview.

Howver, she will need a return ticket when she travels to the U.S.

If you buy only one way ticket to the U.S., they will assume that she is not planning to return which will cause problems.

So I shouldn't not produce any ticket at the interview and she has to tell that the ticket will be booked later right?
