I would like to get a sample NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE so that I can ask my mom to get the same from her office for visa and travel. She is a central govt employee and has no objection certificate which contains information pertaining to no objection to obtaining a passport.


PLEASE SOMEONE HELP urgent BY GIVING THE FORMAT IF ANY OF UR PARENTS ARE CENTRAL GOVT OR GOVT EMPLOYEE WHAT SHUD THE CERTIFICATE CONTAIN....

I donot know if there is a standard format for it...or if there is a sample of an NOC on this site. But, I do know that if ur mom asks her HR dept to issue out one for the purpose of obtaining a passport as well as a visa...they will give out one based on the company rules.

Basically...wht it needs to contain is...tht the Govt has objection on ur mom holding/applying for a passport...and tht it allows a certain time frame (usually 2 months to 3 months leave at the most is wht is allowed for govt employees) during which the person can go visit other countries. It clearly however states though...tht if the employee does not return within the said time period, her/his employment will be terminated. This usually assures the consulate tht the person applying for the visa will come back.

Thanks a lot Divyasri. But does that mean my mom cannot stay here for 5 months. Because she cannot come to visit me next year since she has office promotion exams.

So shud i ask her to get a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE IN THE WAY YOU STATED BUT ASK FOR 5 MONTHS AS THE TIME PERIOD TO COME BACK WILL THAT WORK?????

SHE HAS ONE NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE ALREADY FOR HAVING A PASSPORT. THE ONE SHE HAS TO GET IS FOR VISA AND TRAVEL. IS THAT OKAY???? PLEASE REPLY

If her intention of stayin here is for 5 months...then she better well show on the NOC tht her employer has no problems with it. But do they usually allow as many days as that??? On a Govt employment i mean...??

Divyasri - actually we are planning to request

As I said , we are planning to request for 5 months, she is a central govt employee and she has not taken any long leave for a month or so since she was employed. So we can try but if they deny then no choice.... only 3 months.Also she shud get a LEAVE SANCTION LETTER RIGHT?????

well...in my father's case his NOC itself was acting as a leave sanction letter. The NOC itself spoke of leave sanctioned for 2 months.

U just need to show proof of both when asked for..tht is all tht matters really. Are both of those two points in one letter or two diff ones....I guess shudn't really matter.

I donot know if there is a clause tht says they need to be on two seperate sheets...with a particular format.
