Visitor visa rejected with 214(b)

Hi,

My parents attended the visitor visa appointment yesterday at Chennai. I am on H1B and sponsoring my parents. All the supporting documents were sent. My father owns a very small business and does not have taxable income but has property and deposits in bank.

I have a unmarried sister in USA who is working.

The VO asked very few questions like my parents income, my sisters job and they rejected the visa without telling any reasons.

They had all the supporting documents but VO did not even see them.

Now I am planning to send my mom alone for the next interview as i am expecting a child and will need her if not my dad.

Please advise if this holds ground that she has ties that her spouse and daughter is back in india and she has to come back to india.

That is hard to say.

If they asked him about his income, and if his income below the income tax threshold, that is not a good thing for getting the visa.

But that is his financial state and dint want to **** it... since he has some ancestral property and some deposits in his account and also, i am sponsoring thier trip...if they talk about it during the interview will that give a chance..

i want to try again but the circumstance remains the same between last time and now as i dont want to **** anything .

Of course, I didn't suggest to **** anything. You should always tell the utmost truth.

All you can do is try again. However, given the circumstances, for some people, it is just difficult to get visa.
