old vs new passport query

My mother has a 10 yr tourist visa stamped in her old passport. Now she has gotten a new passport after expiry of the previous one.
For travelling/POE, can she just carry both of the passports, or is there any new requirement that she needs to get the visa transferred to the new passport with an application at the consulate in India.

Just carry both passports. Nothing else needs to be done.
