Visitor Visa for Friend

I want to travel to US for a couple for months. The purpose of visit is tourism and sight-seeing. I want my friend to send the Visa invite. What are the chances of obtaining a B2 Visa assuming the inviting person has sufficient funds, necessary documents and is working in the US for 3 years?
