Need help for tourist visa -self sponsor

I need your help for my tourist visa to the US. As i work for airlines and i can get many chances to travel abroad due low price ticket for staff ( really good job for me) . My friends and i have an appointment in US as a Michael Jackson fan union and visiting his monument in Forest Lawn on his 2nd memorial ceremony in June and some visits in LA like Disney etc. I will apply as self sponsor. I am informed that i need to have invitation letter from my friend and she is willing to do so but in deed we are only closed friends on internet (group of MJ fans from forum) but like sisters. I don't know what are needed for my visa approval. Also,I used to travel to Japan twice for business trip. Moreover, i intend to visit my sister who lives in Atlanta as well. Now i am a bit confused for the visa process.But my sister is now not ready for writing invitation letter and cannot sponsor me. So is it possible to visit her to without it. I am very confused now. Please kindly help me!

My friend is willing to write me letter of invitation and will send me her letter and driver lisence as citizen approval by email. I wonder if it's enough? For my visa interview, should i present the booking of accomodation ( my friend will pay for it as she is willing to be organizor for my group union). We plan our getting together for about 1 week, but can i stay more because i intend to visit my sister also (she is no supporter). So in the letter my friend should mention my duration of stay is about 7 days? Or should not? If she only mentions 7 days, will it be possible that i stay more? What should i do in this case? If i visit my sister i will stay 1 week more. About the interview, what must i prepare for my both trips to LA and Atlanta? Do you think it's better that i just make it to LA only? Please kindly help me with this! I am much appreciated.
