Moms last name mispelled in passport

hi,
im inviting my parents on visitors visa...In my moms passport last name (my fathers name) one n is missing where 2 n should be there....I have no time to corrrect passport befre interview..so we are preparing the affadavit...But should i put the mispelled name in the 134 form and invitation letter and the visa application form since we have to put the name as spelled in passport or should i put the correct name..please anyone can help?

but if i put the correct name will not the name in passport and the visa stamping differ and will it not create any problem at the port of entry...can i show affadavit from india (which we are shhowing at the visa consulate) at the port of entry for this error in the name?


Is it ok for her to travel without correcting the name in the passport.

Given the situation, assume that the way the name is written in passport is correct name and prepare all documents accordingly.

But since my father is also travelling with her he will have one spelling in his passport my moms passport will have a slight diff spelling of him...wont they compare both passport?

That does not matter.

Your mother's name does not necessarily have to have your father's name. If it has, it does not have to be exactly same. Your mother's name can be whatever it may be.
