Immigration at USA

Hello,

My father would be travelling with me from India to USA on his 1st visit here. He has a multiple entry visa.
Though I have the Green Card, can I still stand in the USA immigration line with my father? He does not speak English, and it would be helpful if I answer the immigration officer's questions on his behalf.

Is this possible?

It is really very subjective. It may vary from time to time and place to place.

You can try standing with him in the 'visitors' line.
