Attend Conference with Son/B2 Visa

Dear Sir

I have 10 year visitor VISA for US which is valid till 2016. I have been to US in october 2006 for one month and in September October 2010.

I have to attend Gordon Conference in US in June and then visit my son for one week, before returning.

Can I travel on my B1/B2 VISA to attend the conference and also visit my son ?

I request your kind advice in this matter.
