Missing Visa Stamp in Passport

My brother and his family attended interview in Delhi US Embassy and aplications were approved. However, when passports were recieved only 4 out of 5 passports were stamped with stamp. THere is no stamp on 5th passport that too of main applicant. There is no letter or other notation on the passport. Can it be clerical error

Your brother needs to go to VFS with all passports and explain the problem. They will take up with the consulate and if he is also given the visa during the interview then he will also get the passport with the visa.

Thanks. Will go to VFS next week. Just wondering if there was any question about grantign visa then there should have either been a leeter with passport or some marking on passport or it should have been told in the interview and passport would not have been kept. Does anybody has similar experience

Since no mention was made to your brother that his visa was rejected, there could be a genuine slip up at the consulate. Please post after the visit of your brother to VFS.

By mistake, visa was not stamped in the passport. Passport was recalled and visa stamped. Thanks,
