Lost Passport with Visitors Visa

My mother lost her passport in India. The passport is with visitors Visa stamped for 10 years. She already travelled to US once and her travel to US due next weekend. Now that we discovered, she lost her passport, is there any way she can get her passport and visa asap and able to travel ? Is it necessary to get a new passport and Visa to be stamped again ? Will be very thankful to the information provided.
